SUMMER WORSHIP SCHEDULE – Sundays at 9am & Wednesdays at 7pm
Calvary's Worship Team met on Tuesday, April 1st, and the following recommendation for our summer worship schedule was presented to Church Council on April 15th and was approved as recommended.
Effective from Wednesday, June 4th through Wednesday, August 27th, at 7:00pm a mid week worship service will be offered.
We will of course continue to have the 9am Sunday worship service in conjunction with the Wednesday service. The two weekly services will be very similar. Sunday and the following Wednesdays services will follow the same scripture and message. Holy Communion will be served on Wednesdays, June 4th and 18th, July 9th and 23rd and August 6th and 20th and of course the regular 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month.
An outdoor service is planned for the last Wednesday of June, July and August. More information will follow.
In making this recommendation we took into account the January Worship survey suggestions from you folks plus that we wanted to have some consistency being that Advent and Lenten services are held Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm.
Worship Team, in conjunction with representatives from Christian Education, Church Council and Music Committee will be meeting on July 8th to determine our future Rally Sunday 2008 schedule. Worship Team realizes assistance and input from the other three committees of the church is necessary when making this recommendation. This joint recommendation will then be made at the July 15th Church Council meeting and notification to that decision will be published in the August newsletter.

Once again, Calvary’s courageous Council is holding its valet parking Sunday on Mother’s Day, May 11th. For a donation that will go towards the BASEMENT RENOVATION PROJECT, we will park your car for you before services, and deliver it to you when services are over. Help us move this worthwhile project forward and donate generously.
